U.S. service members are reportedly questioning the legality and morality of the Iran war, with some alleging they were ordered to support strikes on civilian infrastructure. One service member says concerns over attacks on bridges were dismissed as “dual-use” targets, while others describe growing doubts over military operations and shifting justifications from U.S. leadership. The reported surge in conscientious-objector applications has added another layer to the controversy surrounding Operation Epic Fury and Operation Southern Spear.
