An Ottawa man is celebrating his 70th birthday by cycling 7,000 kilometres across Canada to raise money for ovarian cancer research. CTV's Shaun Vardon speaks with Barry Woods, who dedicated the monumental ride to his older sister Dianne after she passed away from the disease in May. Woods, the father of international cycling powerhouse Mike Woods, began his journey at the Pacific Ocean in July and plans to reach Newfoundland later this month. His wife Deanna says she is proud of his determination, even though she initially worried the solo cross-country trek would be too dangerous.
