Reform UK has pledged to raise the tax-free personal allowance to £15,000 in its first Budget if the party wins power. The party says the change would save a typical taxpayer around £500 a year and take roughly three million people out of income tax altogether. Reform is proposing major reductions in government spending to help fund its tax plans, including a £50 billion welfare overhaul. Its proposals include restricting benefits for non-British citizens, reassessing some disability benefit claims and requiring people who are able to work after long periods of unemployment to contribute in their local communities. Robert Jenrick also set out plans to reduce the size of the civil service, change human rights legislation, tackle illegal migration and take a tougher approach to antisemitism and extremism. Peter Cardwell speaks with Reform UK Shadow Chancellor Robert Jenrick. Have you got a story? Email tips@talk.tv Click here for more from Talk https://talk.tv If you need any help
