Halloween: The Game has already received its FIRST early access hotfix, but players are still reporting major problems across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, including crashes, broken progression, story mode saves not working, matchmaking issues, crossplay problems, missing XP, bugged challenges, frozen perk menus, glitched NPC civilians, poor performance, and several game-breaking bugs just days before the full launch. In this video, we’re breaking down everything included in Halloween: The Game Early Access Hotfix #1, which primarily targets numerous crashes while also fixing several challenges that were not tracking properly, offline play being affected by the login queue, Michael Myers occasionally being unable to get back up after being downed, and rendering issues on Xbox Series S. IllFonic has also confirmed that a much larger Day One patch is coming alongside the full release, with additional fixes and improvements already being investigated based on feedback from the community.
