Migrants gathered along the coastline of Gravelines in northern France at dawn to attempt the dangerous journey across the English Channel aboard overloaded inflatable boats. Dozens of people—including families and young children—waded through cold coastal waters and sandy dunes to launch or board small dinghies bound for the southern coast of the United Kingdom. Local French law enforcement monitored coastal departure points while rescue services maintained surveillance across heavily trafficked shipping lanes. The early morning attempt highlights the ongoing surge of small-boat migration despite joint UK-France security operations, border patrols, and enforcement agreements aimed at disrupting people-smuggling networks operating along the Pas-de-Calais coastline. #Gravelines #EnglishChannel #Migration #France #UKNews #SmallBoats #PasDeCalais #WorldNews 🔴 LIVE from Gravelines, France Live views of the northern French coast at dawn as migrants attempt to leave the area.
