Hundreds of masked protesters dressed in black and wearing balaclavas brought the Port of Dover, the UK's busiest ferry terminal, to a standstill during a dramatic "Stop the Boats" demonstration. Roads were blocked, traffic stretched for miles, ferry passengers faced delays, and Kent Police monitored the protest before confirming it had dispersed by midday with no arrests made. The incident has also sparked debate over the UK's new Crime and Policing Act 2026, which introduced powers to make concealing your identity at a protest an offence in designated areas. The protest drew condemnation from the UK government and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, who criticised demonstrators for wearing masks and balaclavas. #uknews #dover #portofdover #stoptheboats #immigration #ukpolitics #breakingnews #kent #protest #bordersecurity #migrants #englishchannel #ferries #nigelfarage #crimeandpolicingact #viral #trending #news #uk #politics Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In
