Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered a sharp message after rejecting a U.S. trade offer, saying Canada would not accept short-term gains that could later be taken away. Carney said Ottawa remains focused on securing genuine relief from what he called unjustified U.S. tariffs affecting Canada’s forest products sector. He argued that any agreement must provide durable benefits for Canadian workers and companies rather than temporary concessions. Carney’s remarks signal continued tensions in trade negotiations with Washington and underline Canada’s demand for stability, certainty and lasting tariff relief before accepting a deal with the United States. #MarkCarney #DonaldTrump #Canada #US #TradeDeal #Tariffs #USTrade #CanadaUS #TradeWar #ForestProducts #Economy #Tariffs #Geopolitics #Politics #WorldNews #oneindianews #oneindiaenglish #breakingnews #worldnews #englishnewslive #englishnews #latestnews #news ---------------------------------------------------------------------
