Indonesia’s Anak Krakatoa volcano has erupted, spewing fountains of lava and ash, and disrupting flight operations across the country. Jakarta’s main international airport and six other airports have suspended operations. The eruption impacted more than 22,000 passengers, with 209 flights affected, including routes to Singapore, Doha, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and Bali. Authorities have also imposed a 3-kilometre exclusion zone around the volcano and urged ships in the Java-Sumatra strait to remain vigilant. --- Indonesia | Anak Krakatoa | Anak Krakatau | Volcano Eruption | Indonesia Volcano | Volcanic Ash | Flight Disruptions | 209 Flights | 22000 Passengers | Aviation Disruption | Indonesia Flights | Volcano Alert | Sunda Strait | Java | Sumatra | Natural Disaster | Volcanic Activity | Firstpost #indonesia #anakkrakatoa #anakkrakatau #volcanoeruption #indonesiavolcano #volcanicash #flightdisruptions #aviationdisruption #indonesiaflights #volcanoalert #sundastrait #java #sumatra #natura
