U.S. special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner traveled between Moscow and Kyiv as the Trump administration renewed diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine. The U.S. envoys met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on September 5, where discussions focused on the difficult path toward resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Putin said contacts between Moscow and Washington were beneficial, while Witkoff thanked Russia for supporting a temporary no-shoot policy during the three-day diplomatic engagement. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Kyiv was prepared to refrain from strikes on Moscow during the talks and expected Russia to show the same restraint toward Kyiv. #Ukraine #Russia #US #PeaceTalks #UkraineWar #Trump #Zelenskiy #Putin #SteveWitkoff #JaredKushner #Kyiv #Moscow #Diplomacy #PeaceDeal #WorldNews Ukraine, Russia, Ukraine war, Russia Ukraine war, US envoys, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Vladimir Putin, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Trump administrat
