Germany's AfD has claimed victory in a regional election, marking the first win by a far-right party in the country since World War Two. The Alternative for Germany party secured about 44 percent of the vote in the east German state of Saxony-Anhalt. The result falls short of an outright majority, but the party believes it has won a mandate to govern. 00:00 The far-right Alternative for Germany party wins its largest ever vote share in regional elections 03:10 Ukraine asks the US for more air defence and energy support as peace envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff visit Kyiv 05:45 Rescue workers are continuing their search for survivors after a five storey building collapse near New Delhi 08:26 At least five people have died after an Amazon cargo plane overshoots a runway in Miami 09:56 Passengers have been stranded at airports in Indonesia as ash from a volcanic eruption grounds flights 12:41 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders the eviction of some settler outpos
