US special envoy Steve Witkoff said the United States had made “a lot of progress” in Moscow after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin, as he and Jared Kushner travelled to Kyiv for talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Kushner described the Putin meeting as a “very constructive” and open dialogue in which both sides asked questions and discussed ideas for a lasting Russia-Ukraine peace agreement. Witkoff said Washington was working to narrow the gap between Moscow and Kyiv and improve communication channels, while Zelensky welcomed the US envoys and called for more visits. The talks come as Ukraine faces renewed financial and winter-related challenges and as Washington continues President Donald Trump’s diplomatic push to end the Russia-Ukraine war. #russia #ukraine #putin #zelensky #trump #witkoff #kushner #moscow #kyiv #russiaukrainewar #ukrainewar #peacetalks #peace #us #usa #geopolitics #breakingnews #worldnews #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now Wo
