Kevin Pietersen is back in the England setup — this time as a specialist white-ball mentor — and here's a reminder of the batting class that made him one of England's greatest limited-overs players. In PSL 2016, Pietersen represented Quetta Gladiators and produced an impressive 53 off 38 balls against Peshawar Zalmi in the 1st Eliminator. The former England star is now set to work with the national white-ball squad as they prepare for the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup. Pietersen will begin his new role during England's upcoming T20 and ODI matches against Sri Lanka before joining the winter tours of Australia and South Africa. He will also return for next summer's home series against Pakistan and New Zealand ahead of the 50-over World Cup. Pietersen was a key member of England's 2010 T20 World Cup-winning side and was named Player of the Tournament. Watch KP turn back the clock with his 53-run PSL performance against Peshawar Zalmi. #KevinPietersen #KP #EnglandCricket #PSL2016 #HBLP
