In this video, Firstpost explains how McDonald's India is at the centre of a bizarre social media controversy after a post allegedly written by an intern appeared on its X account. The post claimed the intern had not been paid for months by a manager and was forced to take two additional jobs. The claims quickly went viral, with users calling for the intern to be paid. However, McDonald's India denied publishing the post, calling it fabricated and pointing to discrepancies in the screenshot. The original post was deleted, but screenshots continue to circulate online. There is currently no independent confirmation of the salary allegations or the identity of the person behind the post.
