Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Western countries of attempting to erase the history of colonialism and its legacy of violence and exploitation, including against Indigenous peoples and Africans. Speaking in Moscow, Lavrov said African nations were seeking greater economic independence, control over their natural resources and freedom from what he described as Western “neo-colonial” practices. He also accused Western powers of using economic pressure and ultimatums that, in his words, “smack of colonialism,” as Russia continues to strengthen political and economic ties with African countries. #lavrov #russia #africa #colonialism #neocolonialism #westernpowers #russiaafrica #sergeilavrov #geopolitics #globalpolitics #africanunion #africaeconomy #naturalresources #decolonization #worldpolitics #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/world 📱 Instagram: https://www.insta
