New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has sparked controversy after handing a ceremonial pen from a 9/11 remembrance executive order to aide Ramzi Kassem, who previously represented convicted al-Qaeda operative Ahmed al-Darbi. The gesture has triggered fresh outrage ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, with critics questioning the symbolism. Kassem’s legal representation, however, does not imply support for al-Qaeda or its ideology. #ZohranMamdani #Mamdani #September11 #911Anniversary #NYC #NewYorkCity #RamziKassem #AlQaeda #AhmedAlDarbi #CityHall #NYCMayor #Terrorism #USPolitics #BreakingNews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
