Iran has reaffirmed the importance of its relationship with India, describing the ties between the two countries as long-standing, historic and civilisational. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said Tehran “highly values” its partnership with New Delhi, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Bishkek. The two leaders discussed regional stability and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Chabahar Port remains a key issue in India-Iran bilateral discussions, with both countries seeking to strengthen its role in regional connectivity and the International North-South Transport Corridor. With India set to host the 18th BRICS Summit on September 12-13, India-Iran ties and Chabahar are likely to remain important areas of discussion. #IndiaIran #ChabaharPort #BRICS #StraitOfHormuz #Geopolitics Thank you for watching our video!
