Investigators are looking into why an Amazon cargo jet ran off a runway at Miami International Airport, killing five people. The crash on Sunday happened when the Boeing 767 overran the runway and hit an SUV and a van. The crash halted flights at the airport, causing widespread delays and cancellations. Houthi attacks have ignited fires at several oil facilities and utilities in Saudi Arabia’s southern region and wounded more than 70 people. A spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen, said the attacks early Tuesday hit “civilian and economic facilities” in the Saudi cities. And flights to and from Indonesia’s capital of Jakarta have resumed after ash from a volcanic eruption forced a two-day closure that halted nearly 3,000 flights. The continuous eruption ended Sunday, but the volcanic island remained active Tuesday morning. The airport closures affected about 341,000 passengers.
