Schools in Middlesbrough are closing early again ahead of Theo Rae’s funeral, after he was one of five young men killed alongside two police officers in the A66 crash. The closures have sparked a political row, with Kemi Badenoch calling them “obscene” and Labour MP Luke Myer accusing her of scoring political points during a tragedy. Police say they are preparing for possible disruption around the funeral cortege. Duncan Barkes interviews Former Mayor of Middlesbrough, Andy Preston. #TheoRae #A66Crash #Middlesbrough #Teesside #ClevelandPolice #SchoolClosures #KemiBadenoch #LukeMyer #UKPolitics #Funeral #A66 #UKNews #NorthEast #BreakingNews Have you got a story?
