Tom Slater has warned that Britain’s failure to control illegal migration is leading some people to feel they must “take matters into their own hands”. Speaking to Julia Hartley-Brewer after protests in Dover and Portsmouth, the Spiked editor said debate over tactics and face coverings risked distracting from the root cause.
