Russian ballistic missiles struck Kyiv in an overnight barrage that killed two people and injured ten others. The attack damaged residential buildings, high-rise apartments, a dormitory, school, clinic, warehouses and other sites across the Ukrainian capital. Thick smoke and fires were seen across several districts as residents were urged to take shelter. The strikes came just hours after US peace envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff left Kyiv following talks aimed at reviving efforts to end Russia’s war in Ukraine.
