Five baby orangutans were rescued from the Ranakatha Protected Reserved Forest near Badapai village in Balasore, Odisha, after forest officials found the non-native animals during routine patrolling. The critically endangered species is native to the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia and is not found naturally in India. Officials suspect the animals may have been brought and abandoned in the forest, with a possible wildlife trafficking angle under investigation. The orangutans have been shifted to Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar for medical care and hand-rearing. #Balasore #Odisha #Orangutan #WildlifeRescue #Nandankanan #WildlifeTrafficking #ForestDepartment #AnimalRescue #Wildlife #OdishaNews Thank you for watching our video!
