Astronomers have discovered a strange object known as a quasi-moon that has been quietly following Earth for decades, orbiting the Sun while staying surprisingly close to our planet. Unlike Earth's real Moon, this mysterious companion never fully circles us, yet its path keeps it locked in a cosmic dance with Earth year after year. Scientists are studying its unusual orbit to understand where it came from, how long it has been here, and whether similar hidden objects are lurking nearby. Some researchers believe these rare space rocks could reveal clues about the early Solar System and even help future space missions. This video explores the strange object trailing Earth, the latest discoveries about its behavior, and why astronomers find it so fascinating.
