A major crackdown on illegal and unsafe constructions has been ordered in Delhi following the deadly building collapse in Satya Niketan, in which seven people reportedly lost their lives, including students. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has directed the MCD to carry out demolition drives against illegally constructed PG buildings and conduct intensive inspections of unsafe structures.
