The Government is facing criticism over sanctions targeting goods linked to illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, amid warnings that the measures could damage Britain’s security and diplomatic relationship with Israel. Dr Alan Mendoza, executive director of the Henry Jackson Society and Reform UK’s chief adviser on global affairs, joins Julia Hartley-Brewer to argue that Israeli intelligence has helped prevent terrorist attacks in Britain and that weakening the alliance could put the UK at risk. He also accuses Labour of pursuing the policy to win back voters, warning that campaigners demanding tougher action will not be satisfied until “there is no Israel”. #labourparty #israel #westbank Have you got a story?
