Government adviser Alan Milburn has called the GP fit note system for young people with conditions such as ADHD “insane”, warning it can leave people stuck on benefits and damage their life chances. Gareth Southgate also warned against writing young people off because of diagnoses. Milburn said the apprenticeship system also needs major reform, while Southgate criticised working from home for limiting access to workplace mentors. Jeremy Kyle interviews Annunziata Rees-Mogg, Head of Comms for Popular Conservatism. #AlanMilburn #ADHD #FitNotes #NHS #Welfare #YouthUnemployment #GarethSouthgate #Apprenticeships #YoungPeople #UKPolitics #Labour #UKNews Have you got a story?
