MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas reports on Donald Trump speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews before departing for the Republican midterm convention in Dallas, where Trump effectively said he is giving up on pursuing negotiations with Iran for now and told Americans to wait until after the midterms for the war to end and oil prices to come down. Meiselas breaks down Trump’s remarkable promises about what will supposedly change after Election Day as the Iran war continues, oil prices surge above $100 a barrel, and the conflict continues to put pressure on Americans at home.
