Reports say multiple US military aircraft were damaged in overnight Iranian strikes on the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. According to US media reports citing sources, an A-10 Thunderbolt II was left with a missing wing, while around eight F-15 fighter jets reportedly sustained light damage. The reported strikes came after the US attacked five Iranian tankers, which Washington described as retaliation for an attempted Iranian attack on a US Navy warship. The IRGC then claimed attacks against US-linked targets, including the Jordan air base and warships. However, US Central Command says no US Navy warship was struck and that all attempted IRGC attacks failed. CENTCOM also says US forces have destroyed 10 Iranian tankers in the past week. #pentagon Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
