China’s Foreign Ministry is set to hold a briefing on President Xi Jinping’s expected visit to India for the BRICS Summit, putting the spotlight on a major diplomatic moment between Beijing and New Delhi. Xi’s expected trip would be his first visit to India in seven years and comes as bilateral relations have cautiously improved following years of tensions after the 2020 Galwan clash. A possible Modi-Xi bilateral meeting is drawing particular attention, with both sides seeking to manage border, trade and broader strategic differences. The BRICS summit in New Delhi could therefore become a key test of whether the India-China thaw can translate into deeper diplomatic engagement. --- Xi Jinping India Visit | Modi Xi Meeting | China India Relations | BRICS Summit 2026 | Xi Jinping BRICS | India China Ties | Galwan Clash | Modi Xi Jinping | China Foreign Ministry | India China News | Firstpost #xijinping #modi #brics2026 #indiachina #pmmodi #xijinpingsindia #brics #galwan #firstpost Fi
