Yemen faces a potential return to civil war as tensions escalate with Iranian-backed Houthi rebels. The rebel group aims to prevent neighboring Saudi Arabia from using a crucial shipping route on the Red Sea. Houthi control of the shipping lane could disrupt global oil shipments and worsen Yemen's vast humanitarian crisis.
