Houthis have expanded their grip in Yemen after seizing the strategic Red Sea port city of Mokha and taking control of Zuqar Island. The latest advance brings the Iran-aligned group closer to the strategically vital Bab el-Mandeb Strait, one of the world’s key maritime chokepoints connecting the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden. The developments could further threaten shipping routes and put pressure on Saudi-backed Yemeni forces. With fighting intensifying and Saudi Arabia carrying out airstrikes, fears are growing that the conflict could trigger a wider Red Sea crisis and disrupt global trade. #Houthis #ZuqarIsland #Mokha #Mocha #Yemen #RedSea #BabElMandeb #Iran #SaudiArabia #YemenWar #RedSeaCrisis #MiddleEast #Shipping #Geopolitics #BreakingNews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
