After a 100-year journey across 4.24 light-years of space, 4,752 passengers have finally arrived at their new planet. This is a sci-fi documentary, looking at the first 10,000 days on Proxima Centauri B. This journey shows the future science of space travel, exploration, and future space technology. Personal inspiration in creating this video comes from: the movie Interstellar, The Expanse TV show, and Carl Sagan’s Cosmos TV show. Other topics in the video include: where on the planet will the colonists build their new settlement, life on Proxima Centauri B (the weather, geology, environment, the higher gravity), and the local solar system (the Alpha Centauri system), the 11 day orbit of the planet around its sun/star. ----- PATREON The first and second volumes of 'The Encyclopedia of the Future' are now available on my Patreon.
