China has ended days of diplomatic suspense as President Xi Jinping confirms his visit to India for the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, marking his first trip to the country in seven years. Xi’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes amid signs of a diplomatic thaw between India and China following years of border tensions after the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. With bilateral trade reaching record levels and both sides signaling that India and China should be “partners, not competitors,” Xi’s return could become a major moment for the future of India-China relations. But with border security, Chinese investment scrutiny and trade imbalances still posing challenges, the key question is whether the Modi-Xi meeting can turn the recent diplomatic momentum into a more stable relationship. #XiJinpingIndiaVisit #XiJinping #IndiaChinaRelations #ModiXiMeeting #XiModi #BRICSSummit #BRICS2026 #IndiaChinaTies #IndiaChina #NarendraModi #ChinaIndiaRelations #DelhiBRICS #XiJinpingModi #Ga
