Houthi forces have seized the strategic Red Sea port city of Mocha as Saudi-backed Yemeni forces withdraw, marking a major escalation along Yemen’s western coast. The capture puts the Houthis closer to the Bab al-Mandab Strait, one of the world’s most important maritime chokepoints linking the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden. The latest Houthi advance could increase pressure on Red Sea shipping and further destabilize Yemen as fighting intensifies between Houthi forces and Saudi-backed government forces. Reports indicate the battlefield is still developing, with government-aligned forces attempting to regroup south of Mocha. #Houthis #Yemen #Mocha #Mokha #RedSea #BabAlMandab #YemenWar #SaudiArabia #SaudiBackedForces #HouthiForces #RedSeaShipping #MiddleEast #BreakingNews #YemenNews #Geopolitics #oneindianews #oneindiaenglish #breakingnews #worldnews #englishnewslive #englishnews #latestnews #news -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
