The BRICS Summit in New Delhi will bring together Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, putting India’s ties with Beijing and Moscow in the global spotlight. Xi’s return to India after seven years comes amid efforts to ease border tensions and rebuild bilateral ties. Putin, meanwhile, will arrive early for a separate meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with energy, trade and defence expected to dominate the agenda. From the India-China border to Russian oil, trade and major defence deals, the summit could shape India’s strategic partnerships—and the wider global order. --- BRICS Summit 2026 | BRICS New Delhi | Xi Jinping India Visit | Vladimir Putin India Visit | Narendra Modi | PM Modi | India China Relations | India Russia Relations | India China Border | India China Border Tensions | Xi Jinping Modi Meeting | Putin Modi Meeting | India Russia Defence | India Russia Trade | Russian Oil India | India Energy Trade | India China Ties | India Russi
