At the age of 14, she was diagnosed with a rare disease called Reber's optic neuropathy, which caused her vision to drop from 1.0 to near blindness. Initially focused on overcoming all the difficulties that came with blindness, she eventually realized that some problems are unsolvable and that she could only move forward step by step. Currently, she is dedicated to bringing live music into medical institutions to support more people going through difficult times. https://www.instagram.com/charliewu_0307?stkn=cG9hcG5yM2ZjYTB0 This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
