Artificial intelligence is making learning faster and easier than ever. With a single question, we can receive an answer, generate an essay, or solve a difficult problem within seconds. But could this convenience cause us to lose something essential to the process of growing and learning? Drawing from her own experience of using ChatGPT for schoolwork, Nguyễn Trúc Anh discovered that making mistakes, struggling, and finding answers independently are still essential parts of learning. When AI can provide solutions almost instantly, it becomes easy to skip the process of trying, failing, thinking, and discovering for ourselves. This talk does not present AI as the enemy of education. Instead, it asks an important question: How can we use AI as a tool without losing our ability to think for ourselves?
