On September 11, 2001, ordinary mornings across the eastern United States turned into scenes of unimaginable horror. From Washington, D.C., to Pennsylvania and New York, journalists found themselves racing toward a story no one had ever imagined while trying to make sense of it as history unfolded before their eyes. Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives. A nation was forever changed. Among those journalists was Mike Walter, who witnessed and reported on the attacks. Twenty-five years later, he sits down with fellow journalists who were there that day to remember what they saw, what they felt, and what it meant to tell the story while living through it themselves.
