Iran-backed Houthi rebels have taken an island just off Yemen’s western coast after government forces withdrew. The move gives Houthis considerable control over a key Red Sea waterway. The strait is an important alternative to the Iran-choked Strait of Hormuz. Anthropic says it has blocked efforts by bad actors to use its artificial intelligence models for malicious activity, including cyberattacks and biological weapons. The company said Thursday that it found signs of misuse despite adding strong safeguards in its latest models. And Friday marks a quarter century since the attacks of September 11th that claimed nearly 3,000 lives and changed U.S. foreign policy. President Donald Trump is set to observe the 25th anniversary of the attacks by attending a Pentagon ceremony. He issued a proclamation marking Friday as “Patriot Day 2026.” Give to CBN: https://go.cbn.com/un2xC Want more news from a Christian Perspective?
