Jeremy Kyle opened the show visibly furious after replaying Defence Secretary Wes Streeting's comments on national resilience, in which Streeting suggested Britain needs a broader conversation about preparedness, He pointed to a summer of wildfires and the prospect of a difficult winter with extreme cold or flooding, before asking viewers directly whether they would know where to find a torch, matches or candles in the event of a power cut. Kyle then argued the real reason people cannot afford to heat their homes or keep the lights on is because energy prices have "skyrocketed" as a direct result of government policy prioritising solar panels and importing energy over supporting British farmers and producers. Speaking with Political Commentator Charlie Rowley, Talk's Jeremy Kyle says: "If Russia launched an attack, what bloody use is a torch?!" #wesstreeting #anniversary #jeremykyle #talk Have you got a story?
