Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday that his country was inspecting all branches of its armed forces and training troops under conditions designed to replicate combat, including calling up reservists and testing mobilisation readiness. Speaking during an inspection in the Brest region, Lukashenko said there should be no “window dressing” during military exercises and that troops must be trained as they would operate in battle. He said Belarus was drawing lessons from recent armed conflicts and was preparing for war “so that it does not happen.” Lukashenko also said Belarus needed to increase production and deployment of modern communications equipment across its armed forces, including systems developed domestically. #lukashenko #belarus #belarusarmy #belarusmilitary #military #militaryexercises #warreadiness #combatreadiness #mobilisation #militarydrills #belarusnews #russia #ukrainewar #russiaukrainewar #easterneurope #geopolitics #geopoliticalnews #worldnews #b
