New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are facing backlash after footage showed them smiling and laughing during the reading of 9/11 victims’ names at Ground Zero. The moment drew sharp criticism online, particularly because it came during the 25th anniversary remembrance ceremony. Mamdani’s attendance was already controversial after some 9/11 families reportedly urged him to stay away from the event over his appointment of Ramzi Kassem as the city’s chief legal counsel. #mamdani #9/11 #9/11attacks #usa #trump #hegseth #aoc #alexandriaocasiacortez #groundzero Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
