North Korea launched several ballistic missiles toward the sea on September 12, according to South Korea, a day after the United States, South Korea and Japan concluded their five-day Freedom Edge military exercise. The launches were detected from the Wonsan area on North Korea’s eastern coast. Seoul raised its surveillance posture and coordinated with Washington and Tokyo, while U.S. Pacific Command said the launches posed no immediate threat to U.S. territory or its allies. Pyongyang had previously condemned the trilateral drill and warned of “strong and reflective countermeasures.” #northkorea #kimjongun #missiles #ballisticmissiles #southkorea #usa #japan #freedomedge #koreanpeninsula #militarydrill #geopolitics #worldnews #breakingnews #asiapacific #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/world 📱 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/timesnow.world 🐦 Follow us on X: https://x
