Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung in New Delhi on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit. Hung is visiting India from September 12–13 to attend the summit and hold bilateral engagements. The visit comes as India and Vietnam mark a decade of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The two sides are expected to review bilateral cooperation and discuss opportunities to deepen ties, including trade, investment, technology, defence and regional cooperation.
