Warcraft is one of gaming's most popular fantasy settings, but I think that Blizzard has forgotten what makes it so great. When compared to Lord of the Rings, Warcraft is a setting more connected to its audience, and I prefer that. Whether it be Blizzard's failure to adapt Warcraft as a series or a movie, or its insistence on watering down the sword and sorcery elements that made it iconic, I don't have a ton of faith for their direction with Classic plus and WoW 2, or whatever this Camelot project is.
