SEBI has proposed seven refinements to the Closing Auction Session framework after volatility, liquidity and price-discovery concerns emerged following its implementation. The proposals include changes to derivatives settlement methodology, market timings, indicative index values, restrictions on certain order cancellations and the treatment of iceberg orders.
