Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi told Times Now that Tehran has always ensured the safety of Indian commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, despite the ongoing regional tensions. Gharibabadi said Iran and Oman had agreed on a new modality to reopen the strategic waterway, but argued that its implementation depends on U.S. commitments that he said Washington was backing away from. He blamed foreign intervention and attacks against Iran for instability around the Strait and said regional peace was in the interest of all countries. Gharibabadi also welcomed India’s role in hosting the BRICS summit in New Delhi. #iran #irannews #kazemgharibabadi #hormuz #straitofhormuz #india #indianshipping #indianseafarers #oman #iranoman #usa #usiran #hormuzcrisis #middleeast #geopolitics #brics #brics2026 #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/world 📱 Instagram: https://www.
