Russia's Defence Ministry said artillery crews from its Yug Battlegroup struck a concealed Ukrainian ammunition depot in Druzhkovka in the Donetsk region, releasing footage that reportedly shows an explosion followed by fire at the site, though the ministry has not identified the artillery system or ammunition used and provided no figures for ammunition destroyed or casualties. The reported strike targets a location within the wider defensive belt linking Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and Konstantinovka, an area Russia has repeatedly claimed its Yug Group is targeting for ammunition storage, troop concentrations and supply infrastructure as part of efforts to disrupt logistics reaching Ukrainian forces at the front. Ukrainian authorities had not immediately confirmed the Russian account, and independent verification of the strike's location, ammunition losses or casualties remains unavailable, following earlier Russian reports claiming Yug Group units had reached positions on Druzhkovka's outs
