A 15-year-old boy was rescued after surviving for about two days on top of a capsized boat in Alaska’s Bering Sea, while two others were found dead. The U.S. Coast Guard said an aircrew located the overturned skiff about four miles east of St. Lawrence Island on September 7 and dropped survival equipment before a nearby vessel reached the teenager, who was suffering from hypothermia. According to a relative, the group had set out on a fishing trip on September 5 when their boat capsized. The two other people on board, identified as the survivor’s older brother and cousin, did not survive.
