Yemen’s government forces launched fresh attacks against Iran-backed Houthi rebels along the Red Sea as the country’s conflict intensifies, while the Houthis fired into neighbouring Saudi Arabia, which supports Yemen’s government. Footage released by the Yemeni Armed Forces purportedly shows air force strikes against Houthi positions and vehicles. The government has vowed to send more forces to the Red Sea coast after the Houthis captured Mokha and an island near the strategic Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The escalation threatens regional security, shipping and global oil supplies, while the United Nations estimates more than 80,000 people have been displaced by fighting since the start of September. #yemen #yemenwar #houthis #houthi #redsea #saudiarabia #iran #iranbacked #babalmandeb #redseacrisis #middleeast #shipping #oil #geopolitics #warnews #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/wor
