Lithuania briefly closed Vilnius airport after radar detected what authorities believed was a drone entering its airspace, prompting NATO to scramble a fighter jet from its Baltic Air Policing mission. The alert lasted 38 minutes before the aircraft visually identified the target as a flock of birds. The incident underscores growing anxiety across NATO's northern frontier, where repeated drone scares linked to the Russia-Ukraine war are keeping alliance air defences on constant alert. #Lithuania #NATO #Russia #Vilnius #DroneScare #BalticAirPolicing #FighterJet #UkraineWar #RussiaUkraineWar #Poland #Estonia #Latvia #Finland #BreakingNews #WorldNews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
